I ripped the skirt all apart and ironed everything. I took Simplicity's pattern 1560 and drafted my own yoke for the skirt. >>>> I had to do some adjusting to fit this out of the old skirt but I made it work. I wound up using denim pieces from an old dress for the inside of the yoke (I lined it). I used the same belt loops from the old skirt. After sewing it all together I stitched the loops down and it was all done =) It was a while before I was able to get pictures and even longer before I got around to doing this post. This was a denim skirt we were given. I wore it as it was for awhile then didn't like it anymore and wanted to change it. So I ripped it out and re-made it. =) This skirt is very versatile, you can dress it up or dress it down. I have warn it a lot, these are just two of the many outfits I have created with this skirt. Maybe someday I will make a post with more outfits with this skirt.

About Me
Welcome to A Basket Of Pansies. I am Sarah or sometimes known as Billie Jo, a Christian girl in her early 20s and lover of dogs. I enjoy reading, writing, sewing, drawing, crocheting, horseback riding as well as riding motorcycles, taking walks, designing clothes, hairdressing, and lately planning weddings though for now it has just been for my stories but someday maybe I will plan a real one for someone. Here I like to share my thoughts and whatnot with you all. I hope you enjoy reading this and will pay another visit here someday. God Bless. Archives
