Extreme Re-make #1

    One day I was sorting through a bunch of boxes from the basement and came across a bunch of old clothing that were so out of style.  My younger sister's 16th birthday was this summer and she needed a bunch of new stuff so I talked to mom and said "hey there is all this stuff and I thought it would be fun to remake it.  What do you think?"  She said to go ahead so I went to work.  Only it took me a lot longer to get something done then I thought it would.  First one thing then another came up.  So I am now done with the first four things and I have gotten pictures and ready to do this post FINELY!!!!



    The first one I did was this sundress.
I had my little sister seam rip off the straps and eyelet ruffle.  Which also meant taking out the top elastic casing.  I re-stitched the casing threaded the elastic and put the straps back on. 

Next was this very un-stylish dress.  I had Walter (my younger sister, as I call her, it's a joke) rip the whole thing out.

I was able to not only get this skirt out of it but also.....

This is a denim skirt that Walter got at a thrift store. She really liked the style so......

.....using it as a pattern I made this one.

Next was this jumper.  I had Walter rip it out all the way.  Then out of brown paper made my own pattern for this skirt.

 There was this length of fabric that I made into another skirt.  I might have to take it in at some point. 

So that was the first bunch and I am getting ideas together for the second bunch of stuff.
