"Luke? What are you doing up already? It's 7:00 in the morning!" Anne looked at her brother. He was never up before she was.
"I couldn't sleep," her brother replied.
"Is this coffee drinkable?" Anne took a mug from the cupboard.
"I know how to make coffee," Luke replied taking a sip from his cup and setting it back on the counter beside him.
Ever since Anne had moved in with him 14 months ago she was the one to make the coffee, because she was the first one up.
"Do you?" she asked taking a tentative sip from the cup she had poured for herself. "Okay it's not bad. Now what about sleeping? Or not sleeping?" she leaned on the counter across from her brother.
"I woke up around 1:00 this morning and could not go back to sleep," Luke ran his hand over his face and looked at his sister.
"That is strange. You never have trouble sleeping," Anne hoisted herself onto the counter.
"Yeah, most of the time my alarm can't even wake me up," he shrugged.
"Which is why I moved in with you," Anne smiled. "God knew you needed someone to take care of you, and make sure you went to work on time."
"Seriously," he gave her a look. "What is wrong with me?" he leaned his head back against the upper cupboard.
"Well, legend says, that when you can't sleep at night, it's because you are awake in someone else's dream," Anne said taking another sip of her coffee.
"Yeah right, whatever." Luke brushed his sisters words off but a picture of Faith flitted through his mind. Where was she? He had not seen her or even heard anything about her for quite some time now.
