Well I said I would make a blog post about my birthday and I am finely getting around to it. So I went ridding in the morning with two of my sisters. I was on behind one of my sisters. The horse we were riding had never been ridden double before so it was not only new for her but me as well (I have never ridden double before.) Anyway we went into the field across the road and everything was going fine.......and then the neighbors dogs started barking Bonita (the horse) does not like dags and started bucking I did not have that good of a hold on my sister and fell off. We had 2 feet of snow at the time though so it was a soft landing and I got back on after 'sister' had her calmed down. We road for a while longer then we went to turn around and we think she was turned to quickly and I caught her in the flank with my feel. She started bucking again but this time I stayed on although I almost threw up. But 'sister' got her stopped and the rest of the ride back home went well. I spent the afternoon cooking my cake and supper. At our house instead of the birthday person getting the day off they have to make the meal and whatever dessert they choose. I made bean and beef stacked enchiladas for the meal and the cake was called Pecan and Chocolate Fudge Ring. I did not but the Pecans on but it was so good here is what the cake looked like. And what it looked like in the book.
I got a fair amount of yarn for my b-day now just trying to decided what to make out of it all. And find the time to do it. I will post the finished stuff on here at some point. I just don't have enough time to get done all the things I want to do.
