I don't know how many of you have heard of Billy the kid? He was an outlaw in the late 1800s. And was killed by Pat Garret in July of 1881. Well one of my little brothers was reading about him and telling his younger sisters and brother about him and how he was killed. And one day at the lunch table we were all talking about Billy the Kid. And my little sister said "Pat Parrot killed Billy the Kid." We laughed so hard at the mental picture of a parrot pointing a gun and Billy the Kid and killing him. There then ensued a conversation about Pat Garret. My little sister was convinced that Pat Garret was a parrot not a man. So now we joke around about a parrot killing Billy the Kid.

I LOVE this story. I was so glad that we were done eating so no one choked on their food.

About Me
Welcome to A Basket Of Pansies. I am Sarah or sometimes known as Billie Jo, a Christian girl in her early 20s and lover of dogs. I enjoy reading, writing, sewing, drawing, crocheting, horseback riding as well as riding motorcycles, taking walks, designing clothes, hairdressing, and lately planning weddings though for now it has just been for my stories but someday maybe I will plan a real one for someone. Here I like to share my thoughts and whatnot with you all. I hope you enjoy reading this and will pay another visit here someday. God Bless. Archives
